ABOUT SUMMER BIBLE CAMPS

WHERE Fun Meets faith

Get ready for a week packed with exciting things to do! Campers entering Kindergarten through 4th grades will make new friends, enjoy a variety of activities, and have fun with the central focus of building their relationship with God. Together they will learn about and experience God’s love and truth through Scripture, music, hands-on experiments, games, and more.

Camp Theme & Design

Our theme for Summer Bible Camp is SCUBA: Diving into Friendship with God.

Each day is filled with awesome Bible-learning experiences kids see, hear, touch, and taste to help their faith flow into real life!

Summer Bible Camp campers are grouped with peers in their same grade as they enjoy great camp songs, snacks, wacky days, and games as they learn about Jesus.

Since the youngest of our campers—children entering kindergarten and 1st grades—learn differently than the older children, we have created Summer Bible Camp JUNIOR. The JUNIOR campers will be with the children in 2nd–4th grades for part of the day, and they will be with just their peers for part of the day.

All campers will enjoy building friendships and working with the same teen and adult leaders each day to foster their sense of belonging and encourage their unique personalities and abilities.

Daily Schedule

8:45-8:55 am: DROP OFF on west lawn. All campers must be signed in daily.

9:00-9:25 am: Opening Assembly

Mission Project

This year, we are partnering with Operation Kid-to-Kid and World Vision to provide clean drinking water to families in Honduras. Every $5 will provide clean drinking water for one person for one year.

Our Goal: Our goal is to provide clean drinking water to 100 people. That means raising $500!

The Need: In North America, most of us take it for granted that we can turn on a tap and get a healthy drink of water. We have access to filtered water and bottled water when clean drinking water isn’t available. Usually, after a restroom break or before eating, there’s a sink nearby where we can wash up. But that’s not the case for many families in Honduras. You may not realize that:

  • About one in nine people in Honduras don’t have access to clean water resources. Most of these people live in rural areas.
  • Lack of access to clean water means women and girls spend valuable time walking long distances to wells. That’s time they could be spending in school or providing for their families in other ways.
  • Too often, rural families are forced to get their drinking water from local rivers—the same rivers where people (and animals) bathe. Drinking water from rivers leads to disease and malnutrition.

But we can change that!

A $5 donation can provide clean water for one person for more than a year! Plus, initiatives in rural Honduras promote and provide support for handwashing and sanitation! Wow! That means no more long walks to the well or being forced to drink harmful water! That small donation means your kids will make a huge impact!

With Operation Kid-to-Kid we have the opportunity to bless countless families in Honduras, helping them have access to one of life’s most basic resources!
